Welcome to the world of aesthetic injector training! As a registered nurse (RN), nurse practitioner (NP), or physician assistant (PA), you have the opportunity to expand your skillset and become a trusted provider in the field of facial aesthetics. Did you know that in most states, if not ALL, there is no regulation or formal training that one actually needs to inject patients? If you are reading this blog because you want training as an aesthetic injector or you’re a patient seeking more info on how injectors are trained, please keep reading!
Residency Aesthetics was founded on the principles that the world of aesthetic injecting isn’t saturated, but LACK of training is. It is our hope to change the aesthetic injecting industry one injector as a time if we must. Before you think about becoming an aesthetic injector there are many things you need to know. It’s not just picking up a needle and poking here and there.
Understanding facial anatomy is crucial when it comes to safely and effectively administering treatments such as Dysport, Botox, Xeomin, and fillers. By delving into the intricacies of facial muscles, nerves, and blood vessels, you will gain the knowledge necessary to minimize risks and maximize patient satisfaction. This is one of the crucial first steps found in our Intro to Facial Anatomy and Injections course.
Safety should always be at the forefront of your practice as an aesthetic injector. Through our comprehensive training programs, you will learn proper injection techniques, dosage calculations, and how to identify potential complications. This ensures that each patient receives optimal care with minimal adverse effects.
The use of Dysport, Botox, Xeomin and fillers has revolutionized non-surgical cosmetic procedures. These products offer patients a range of benefits including wrinkle reduction, facial contouring, and rejuvenation. By mastering their application techniques during your training, you will be equipped to provide transformative results for your patients.
If you are an RN, NP or PA looking to train we would love to help. Our first step is the online virtual course. After completion of this course you are eligible to apply for other courses including our hands on training. Our hands on training is the first of its kind in this industry. Most trainings are 1 or 2 day training. While we have the 1 day intensive, after we allow you 90 days to practice with hands on experience. Nowhere does this! Can you imagine 90 days to build your portfolio of experience? After the 90 days if you have completed our core requirements and your skills are independently being displayed we will look for employment placement for you. This is a beautiful career and very rewarding. However, this industry takes work! You have to be able to build your clientele independently. You have to be able to market yourself. You must have confidence in your abilities and you must be outgoing. If you can answer yes to most of these, we can train you. If you feel you’re lacking in some areas, don’t sweat it, no one is perfect! Let’s discuss where you are and create a plan to watch you shine. We look forward to training with you soon!
